This Greek layer dip is inspired by a recipe given to me by an acquaintance from a long time ago. It's a Greek version of a traditional 7-layer dip with the best flavors of Greece in dip form. Creamy hummus, and tangy cream cheese and lots of fresh veggies and cheese. So delicious!

🥘 Recipe Ingredients
You’ll need the following ingredients to make this amazing Greek layer dip.
📝 Ingredient Notes
- Italian seasoning dressing packet - I know it sounds weird to use Italian dressing in a Greek dip recipe, but trust me. It gives it an extra something that just makes it extra delicious!
- hummus - plain is what I prefer to use.
- Greek seasoning - any seasoning you can find will work. The kind I prefer to use is Cavender's All Purpose Greek seasoning, but I was not able to find it this time.
- cucumber - I like to use the English cucumbers that come wrapped up. The skin is much softer and it has much smaller seeds.
- feta cheese - block or crumbled is fine.
📋 How to Make Greek 7 Layer Dip Step-By-Step
Here are some visual instructions. Full instructions with exact ingredients can be found in the Recipe Card below.
To a medium sized mixing bowl, add cream cheese, lemon juice and Italian dressing seasoning. Mix all together with a hand mixer.
Spread cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a dish. Mix Greek seasoning into the hummus. I like to mix it right in the container - save a dish! Spread hummus on top of the cream cheese layer mixture.
On top of the hummus, add chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers and crumbled feta cheese.
Continue to add the green onions, then the sliced black olives. Serve with a bag of pita chips or fresh, warm pita bread.
💡 Recipe Tips
Tip 1: If you're unable to find Greek seasoning in your store, you can use Greek inspired or Mediterranean flavored hummus instead.
Tip 2: If you also can't find Greek flavored hummus, you can make your own Greek seasoning.

❓Your questions answered
This dip is a variation on the traditional 7 layer dip, which is usually flavored as a Mexican or taco dip. This layer greek dip switches out the Mexican flavors for those of Greece and the mediterranean.
