This AMAZING Cheesy Ranch Garlic Bread is extra tasty with the addition of Ranch dressing! It's the perfect accompaniment to your next Italian Night.
Cheesy Ranch Garlic Bread
Cheesy Ranch Garlic Bread is something I make in our house when we're having Italian for dinner, and also when I want to make sure everyone will eat it! This bread never lasts long!
I myself prefer to make a copycat version of a popular bread around this area called Beach Bread, but I would be the only one in my house to eat it. It's a cheesy garlic bread with blue cheese, tomatoes and olives.
Granted, I'm not too fond of blue cheese, nor olives, but I make my own version of it. BUT, tomatoes are pretty much on all members of my family's no-no list. And I LOOOVE them. It's a struggle for me, I tell ya.
This bread is just as good though, so I'm not mad.
Tips for Making Cheesy Ranch Garlic Bread
Different breads will work well for this recipe. I used a French baguette, however an Italian loaf will work. Sourdough is also a great choice.
The Ranch dressing can be substituted with Blue Cheese dressing, if you want a little stronger flavor.
You can also swap out the cheeses with other types. Sometimes I just use up what's left over in my fridge. I've used cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, Gruyere. I really don't think you can go wrong here.
An easy cleanup tip is to wrap the baking sheet in foil before placing the bread on it. It collects all the cheese and crumbs that fall off, so after cooking, just remove the foil and you have a clean pan! Amazing!
📋 Recipe
Cheesy Ranch Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- ½ pound French baguette
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup Ranch dressing
- ⅔ cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 dash paprika
- 1 tablespoon Italian parsley chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Split loaf of bread lengthwise and place on a foil lined baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add minced garlic to butter while melting, and let the garlic cook in the butter for 2-3 minutes.
- Brush garlic butter all over top of the bread. Spread Ranch dressing over the garlic butter. Top with cheddar cheese, then Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake in oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes is up, place bread under broiler option in the oven for 2-3 minutes, to brown up the top and make the cheese bubbly. Watch the bread carefully during this step, as it can burn quickly. If you think it looks bubbly enough, remove from oven immediately.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and cut into individual slices.

Hi Teri,
These looks so scrumptious. They almost look like you can reach in and pull one from the screen.
I don't think I've seen the ranch being added before but looks great.
